Hand-carved in a paisley form with all-over fish-scale carving, this small tika box from India has a dark wood-toned finish and a warm patina. The lid pivots open on a brass pin at the narrow end, revealing a shallow hollowed interior. In a bedroom, rings, earrings or stamps sit in the hollow on a bedside table.
