This camera is a vintage Bell & Howell 16mm Magazine Camera-200, complete with its original velvet-lined leather carrying case and an extra interchangeable lens. Introduced in the 1950s, the Model 200 was a high-end, consumer-grade 16mm home movie camera. It was celebrated for its rugged, die-cast aluminum construction and innovative, ultra-convenient magazine loading, which allowed filmmakers to swap film cartridges instantly without threading loose film spool strands in the dark.
