This PAIR of Vintage Indonesian Rod Puppets features two distinct figures with painted faces and tall, ornate headdresses decorated in red, blue, and gold tones. Both puppets are dressed in light-colored long-sleeved tops and sweeping skirts featuring intricate, abstract patterns in brown and pink hues. Long, thin control rods are attached to the figures' articulated hands to allow for movement. The figures are supported upright by clear glass bottles concealed beneath their clothing.
