Painted Gourd W/Lotus Motif is a lidded vessel in a peach-tan tone, banded at the shoulder in deep aubergine edged with white lotus-petal points. A white lotus with a green center marks the front, and the tall tapered lid repeats the petal band. Both interiors are washed deep purple. Signed and dated 2010, it suits an entryway or bookshelf.
