An eight-point star medallion centers this blue and yellow pottery plate, ringed by concentric bands of spirals and geometric hatch panels. Cobalt, turquoise, yellow, white and manganese-brown brushwork fills each band, with the loose variation of a hand-painted look. Wall-hung, the plate carries its star medallion above a kitchen sideboard.
