This authentic vintage promotional postcard features celebrated American dramatic mezzo-soprano Irene Dalis (1925-2014), who enjoyed a distinguished two-decade career with the Metropolitan Opera in New York. The portrait was captured by renowned Metropolitan Opera photographer Louis Mélançon, whose printed signature appears in the lower corner, while Dalis's handwritten autograph adds an extra layer of appeal for opera enthusiasts and collectors of performing arts memorabilia.
