This highly ornate set is a mid-20th-century Chinese Hand-Carved WoodOval Nesting Coffee/Tea Table Set. These unique, multi-piece sets are prized for their dramatic sculptural storytelling and space-saving functional art design. The tabletop showcases an incredibly deep, meticulously hand-carved relief depicting an ancient Chinese battle scene beneath a thick, custom-fit protective oval glass sheet.
