An Alaskan soapstone carving in a muted gray-green, this piece shows two parka-clad figures seated together, one larger in a hooded parka and one smaller at its side. The two figures are cut in the round, in a stylized and simplified form. The soapstone carving makes a quiet display on a living room shelf, a mantel, or a desk.
