This 1950s Paul Frankl “Contemporary Line” expanding dining tableand six‑chair set for Johnson Furniture reflects true Grand Rapids craftsmanship in rich, beautifully finished wood. The chairs feature a striking grid back paired with green diamond‑patterned upholstery, including four side chairs and two captain’s chairs. Together, the ensemble captures Frankl’s refined mid‑century modern sensibility with both sculptural presence and everyday functionality.
